Hi, I just wanted to say that I found a amazing Beatmania IIDX emulator calledBeatmania IIDX Dan Courses. The Dan inintei mode (段位認定モード, also known as CLASS or simply Dan) is a mode containing a series of courses ranked so that each course is harder than the last.The mode was first introduced in beatmania IIDX 7th style and is found in every beatmania IIDX games released since then. The difficulty level of the highest rank course cleared is often used as. Beatmania iidx 10th style (arcade) Beatmania iidx 11 iidx red (arcade) Beatmania iidx 12 happy sky (arcade) Beatmania iidx 13 distorted (arcade) Beatmania iidx 14 gold (arcade) Beatmania iidx 15 dj troopers (arcade) Beatmania iidx 16 empress (arcade) Beatmania iidx 17 sirius (arcade) Beatmania iidx 18 resort anthem (arcade). Beatmania IIDX 8th style Model C44 (2002) beatmania IIDX 9th style (2003) beatmania IIDX 10th style (2004) beatmania IIDX 11 IIDXRED (2004) beatmania IIDX 12 HAPPY SKY (2005) beatmania IIDX 13 DistorteD (2006) beatmania IIDX 14 GOLD (2007) beatmania IIDX 15 DJ TROOPERS (2007) beatmania IIDX 16 EMPRESS (2008) beatmania IIDX 17 SIRIUS (2009). A few notes on the game:.The game runs at 640 x 480. If you run it as it is, it will do so in a small window. Right click gdv7.exe and go to PropertiesCompatibility and check 'Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution' to run it in fullscreen. The IIDX controller and games have 7 keys instead of 5. You can use it but you will have to toggle the '5-key' option which autoplays the 6th and 7th note. I advise you to get a 7-key controller as it makes the game more enjoyable. I advise you the use of Lunatic Rave because it's the best emulator around.

GOOGLE CHROME USERS It will ask to translate, but doesn't have any affect on gameplay
GENERAL WARNING The songs cant be read (the song name will be a whole bunch of symbols and numbers)

Set your system language to support Japanese, then you can see song names.

Wow, the current version is awesome. I couldn't even press more than 2 keys on the 2nd version.

Shifted them so many times that I ended up with 'Z E V T B U M and ,' for my setup.

How about on a desktop computer? It doesn't have a trackpad but has the same issue.
Append: Nope, disabling the touchpad doesn't help either.

Honestly the solution is to get a gaming keyboard or dedicated beatmania controller.
It's not a problem with the game, many keyboards just can't register combinations of certain keys.
There is literally no way to program a game to accept those inputs.
It'd even happen if you tried those inputs in 7key StepMania 5

I dunno what happened, I remember 2nd being really good, so there certainly wasn't a sync issue there.

Does anyone have a list of unlocks or something? The only song I've gotten so far is FORESTONE (i think that's how it was spelled) and I don't know what I did to unlock it.

Haven't really experienced lag or sync issues much, but if you try the dan-thing they have, it'll be terrible in sync from one song to the next.
As for the keyboard thing...yeah, taro, I think that's it.
